Metricom operates the "Richotet" wireless internet and data service network throughout the Bay Area, Seattle, and D.C. They have a device that attaches to street light poles and acts as a small transmitter/repeater radio. We have been informed through the mail that they wish to negotiate for the right to attach to a limited number of publicly owned street light poles throughout the City. Could those cities that negotiated with Metricom please respond with a brief description of your final agreement and any comments that you feel are important?
