We are also 9/80 for most staff support functions and our main 9/80 days in
March are 3/10 and 3/24. However, due to the nature of our facility, we
provide flexibility in which days our employees take as a 9/80 day off in
order to provide coverage in vital areas. Some employees take the alternate
Friday--in March 3/3 and 3/17 and some employees take a Monday 9/80.

Accounting closes on the regular 9/80 day (3/10 and 3/24) in March but other
financial functions (Budget, Airport Financial System, Audit, Capital
Programming) provide staffing on every day.

We are 9/8; in March, we will be closed: 3/10/00 and 3/24/00.

My apologies in advance for asking you to go through this one more time -
Alternative Work Schedules.

Many of you kindly responded to my request a couple of weeks ago on 9/80's
with City Hall open 5 days. We are rethinking the strategy here and would
like to hear from L.A. area cities that have alternative work schedules.
Please include:

1. 9/80 or 4/10?

2. If 9/80, which Fridays (or Mondays) are you closed (i.e., for March when
are you scheduled to be closed?)

Since we are trying to compare ourselves to cities close by, I would really
appreciate responses from:

-Hermosa
-Redondo
-Hawthorne
-El Segundo
-Torrance
-Santa Monica
-Rolling Hills
-Palos Verdes Estates
-Rancho PV
-Culver City
-Beverly Hills
-Lomita
-Gardena
-West Hollywood
-Inglewood

Thanks again for the help!
