The City of Mountain View is currently evaluating its Payroll Processing
Service for possible replacement. We are currently using ADP service
bureau's BPR product (QED, PPlus and MIS). We have looked at ADP's Paynet
System (PayrollPlus, PPlus, and MIS), and found it lacking in some areas. We
would like to hear from you regarding your current payroll processing
system, and how it's meeting your needs.

While we haven't ruled out turn-key systems, we would like to remain with a
service if at all possible. Basic requirements for our system include:
processing payroll for 800 employees, ability to utilize 200 pay
type/deduction codes, ability to produce 3rd party payments automatically,
auto deposit processing with up to 9 partials and net, special pays, and
fiscal and calendar total tracking. Our intention is to also implement a
time management or time and attendance system.

Please include whether you are using a payroll processing service, which one
or which system you are using if you process payroll in-house. Comments on
your system and the approximate number of employees you have.

Please reply and I will summarize the information that I receive.

Thank you
Patty Kong
Assistant Finance Director
City of Mountain View.
