The dinner for homeless, third for this year, was served to about 200 people at Raleigh Homeless Shelter on Sunday, April 11th. We are very grateful to Ahsen Salim for sponsoring this dinner and to nine volunteers for their time and effort in preparing and serving the dinner. The volunteers for this dinner were Reza Sohel and his wife Nelam, Badar Abbasi, Chander Shekhar, Mujahid Hussein, Khurrum Bilal, Asim Fakhar, Al-Ameen and Amer Malik. The kitchen presented us with a T-shirt with the logo �Food Shuttle: Driving Hunger From Our Community� in recognition of our service. Only one T-shirt per volunteer group has been given out.
