For the years that I've visited, I cannot recall having a non-XMPP presence in our stand, so I don't think that we would be excluding projects or people by implementing a rename (but please do correct me if I'm wrong). > > I agree. From what I've seen in the past few years, the lounge is almost exclusively used by people manning the stands (myself included), and not so much by visitors. I don't believe it's doing much these days to help us engage in conversations with FOSDEM visitors. While I agree the general remark, I think that the lounge concept is quite cool, and simply under exploited. This year, all the cushions were packed in a side with unused small tables. Why don't we put flyers on the small tables (we were lacking space on the big one), and maybe have people doing demo of clients on demand? We could also make something to drink (coffee/tea, if that would be fine with FOSDEM staff). This booth is unique in FOSDEM, with some reorganisation it could be really great. Best, Goffi
