In the US, the prices have steadily risen for a gallon of gas. Today, a
gallon costs about twice what it did last summer. The gas companies
don't care if you don't buy anything for a few days. At the end of it,
you'll pull up with an empty tank and make up for it all. They'll be
waiting for you.
