Melissa,
Welcome
aboard. It is always nice to
see some of the “fairer sex” becoming involved with cars and
contributing to what is considered a male bastion: the world of
cars.
The
list is very good and I am still learning after 10 years of playing with
Datto’s. Just ask the
question and it will be given the appropriate
consideration.
One
important note is just ignore these guys that talk about forged pistons, and
cams for rotary engines.
Everybody knows that they work best with five valve
heads.
Cheers

Hey
Folks,
My
name is Melissa and I'm 19 years old and have just signed up for you mailing
list.
I
live in Brisbane and have just recently become a lover of the Datto 1600. I
plan on buying one in the next couple of weeks to do up. I plan on putting a
sr20-DET into it and basically going wild. My last car was a 1970 LC Torana
with a 186, genie extractors, 350 dual barrel holley, 3inch exhaust, stereo
etc etc so i have no idea what I am doing with this 'Jap Crap'. i have a bf
and some mates that know what they're doing (i hope) but i plan on getting
down and dirty myself. i love working on cars.
Basically, i just
need advice on things that have worked for any of you people and what sort
of things i should avoid.
Thanks
heaps
Mel
