Terry, thanks for the reply on driveshafts, it was
very useful. One more thing, the rear leaf that attaches the rear of the diff housing to the body of a 1600 has 2 holes that are not in the centre of the leaf. Which way aound does this spring go? I bought the car with the diff,shafts etc sitting on the back floor, and as it's my first 1600 I am not familiar with these fiddly little bits. Thanks.. -Wayne P.S.
