Rear Leaf spring on the diff.

Terry, thanks for the reply on driveshafts, it was very useful. One more thing, the rear leaf that attaches the rear of the diff housing to the body of a 1600 has 2 holes that are not in the centre of the leaf. Which way aound does this spring go? I bought the car with the diff,shafts etc sitting on the back floor, and as it's my first 1600 I am not familiar with these fiddly little bits.
