I usually remove the 2 bolts attaching the strut to the steering arm/ball
joint and the 3 at the top, then the arm will drop and the strut comes out.
Oh yeah - make sure you detach the swaybar at the pins and the t/c rods on
both sides before you get the car off the ground !
