well the computer controls the power two the coils so it can still stop on
coil firing..
As for the knock control is that what the extra wires on the dizzy are for?

Chris,
        THe Z18ET doesn't use an ignition computer and the spark plug fire
simultaneously throughout the rev range.  I think the CA20 twinsparks fire
as you described.  Another interesting fact I have discovered,  the knock
control module retards the timing in an analogue (maybe linear) fashion.
Not just on and off as previosly thought.
