Hi

Just wandering if it was a standard thing for a freshly rebuilt L18 to run 
hotter than usual. The thermostat opens (but havent checked at what temp) 
and there ius  cooolant so is it just like loosening itself up? There is 
also a  smel of burning oil coming through the rocker breather.
Any ideas??

One more thing #4 cylyinder does not contribute to idle, it is definately 
getting spark but there is no difference in the idle speed when the HT lead 
is removed.

Any help appreciated.
