Danny,
I agree with Malcom. Its a bit of a joke. As malcom says they are doweled so
will sit in the same position when reinstalled.
So you dont mix them up scratch numbers in them ie 1 for front, 2, 3 and 4
for the back. I have used a center punch before and lightly taped 1 to 4
marks in them for indentification. When you but it back together install the
cam without the rocker arms. As malcom said make sure all the dowels are
there as you will break the cam (this happened to me a few years back). With
some oil in the bearings install the cam carefully and turn it to check it
rotates freely. Then install rocker arms.

Just dont mix them up ,I unbolt and change cams all the time and have
only ever had one mishap.
They have round dowels like the head to block,,if you try to put one on
with out looking and their is two one one side you will break the cam.
other wise no problems
NOTE,
It all hardend steel bolts into alloy so dont overtighten them.
off hand I dont have the touque handy but its not much.20?

hi all,
i have just picked up my head from the shop after a slight shave and =
vavle job and i have just noticed that the camshaft bearing bracket =
bolts are loose. i had sent it away without touching the brackets as i =
have been informed that they will become misaligned.
WHAT DO I DO????
can i align it myself or do i have to send it away again.
if any one can help me it would be greatly appreciated
