I just unbolt them,do what ever has to be done,then reasemble without
the springs on as these are the only bits that will stuff it up.
Rocker springs that is.
I don't touch the rocker ajusters untill I have to set them once its
back on,if you don't mix the parts up sometimes they don't need to be
ajusted but it pays to check them all.

P.S
be carefull when doing the cam towers up while sitting on the bench as
the valves need space to move down.
