Matt,
There were no return springs fitted to the clutch lever in Aus after the 180B
(610) 4 speed. The newer style lever doesn't have a hole in it like a 510 and
the push rod is not adjustable, although most of us grind about 1/4" off the
push rod as some dude at Nissan must like a clutch that bites a fair way off
the floor. It's prolly done that way so lazy drivers that don't depress all
the way to the floor don't tear the synchros out of the gearbox. The clutch
pedal has the usual return spring inside the car.
