Yeah I thought of that Errol, but in a few years (I hope) I may not be able
to source another W block.
I want to thank you Errol, Pete Parry, Terry and the others on the list for
putting me onto the L18W because honestly in all my years of playing with
rally Datsuns, hanging out with COOTE and the boys, I had not picked up on
them... I remember Arfa Jackson talking about them years ago but took
little notice as in those days building anything under 2.3L meant you wore a
pink tutu.
Thanks again - hopefully when I drop the crank it will turn out to be steel
and I can build another motor that revs like a blender!!!
