Andrew,
They work brilliantly on a 240Z (HS30) but you would not be using Z rotors,
possibly 240K? which would not cause any known problems, so i think your pads
material may not suite or something is stuck on. The symptoms of a sticky
piston or such like is fade or pulling to one side as there is too much heat in
the pads before you go for the stoppers, pad wear rate can be a bit premature
also.
Also have you checked out your rear disks for correct adjustment and condition
of slave cylinders. I'd be checking them out before you need the brakes in an
emergency as you definitely are using a front brake that works well.
