You've described a bog stock A10 Stanza 1600 engine. It should have a black air
cleaner with an automatic pre-heat. The Stanza L16 was not what you'd call a screamer,
just an honest & reliable pollution engine that with the correct gearing, say a 4.1 -
4.3 final
drive and a dogleg 5 speed went fairly well in their day.
