I had problems with my standard computer, i think mainly it was due to a
shitty loom and lots of corroded connections, but it never worked right so
i went aftermarket(microtech), which so far works really well. If you've
got the standard ecu there id give it a go first and see what happens.
There are a few different ecu's, ive tried 2, one had heaps smoother
midrange but no top end, the other was opposite. Check for corrosion on
your contacts. My FJ fitted in with only a small panelbeating required
where the trans tunnel starts, and used a SSS fitting kit. I think the auto
and manual 1600 bodys are different, the auto may have a larger tunnel. If
you need any help with the wiring just ask.....
