Chris,
I haven't done this conversion but there are a few articles on the web from
our US Dimers as it's fairly popular over there.

Subject: 280zx struts.
Okay people I've asked this a few times but always get mixed response. DO
280zx struts fit on a 1600. I have seen them fitted to a wagon but been told
by many people that the camble alignment will be way out. Is this because
of the angle of the stub axel or the height of the strut ??? I figured they
would be shorter and therefore lower the car some what..
Also what type of spring perch do they have..(ie will it fit or will i need
to change to small diameter springs and mounts etc...
Thanks
Chris
