Could you please supply a bit more info to assist in a better quality
response.
What size wheels/tyres and if possible what backspace and what brakes are
you running.
You say you are 100 mm off the ground, is that at the front x-member. If
that's where you measured, then you are lowered close to 80 mm (3") and even
though it is a '69 possibly with the preferred x-member it is still right up
there in bump steer territory as you suggested.
There are better more well known measurements to determine if bump steer is
likely to be an issue. To find out for sure, measure the distance from
centre hub to the lower guard lip at both front & rear and post distance. If
the front measurement is under 320 mm then bump steer is usually an issue
and even visibly apparent. Look under the front of the car and observe if
the lower control arms and the x-member appear to be close to a straight
line parallel with the ground.
What type of behaviour did you experience to disappoint you. eg oversteer,
understeer, pitch & body roll, lack of traction or drive out of corners,
brake balance and entry poor entry speed into corners.

I have a 1969 510. After doing many laps of Queensland Raceway the other
day, I was a little disappointed with the handling of my car. Basically I
have 240K struts, lowered king springs all round and koni adjustables front
and back. Even with the koni's turned right up it felt a little unstable on
corners. I have an open diff, no rear swaybar and a standard front swaybar.
I was running about 1 degree camber on the back due to lowering and about
1.5 degrees camber on the front. The car has been lowered to 100mm off the
ground. Do I need spacers on the bottom of my struts? Does anyone have a
set laying around? Do I need a front swaybar? Do I need a rear swaybar?
