Sorry about the lack of info. When I went out to Queensland raceway I had
just fitted some brand new 195/55/15's. They did the job great. My brakes
are 240K rotors with toyota 4 spots and skyline disk rear end. They were
fantastic. Not even a little bit of fade after lotsa laps. I lowered the
car to 100mm off the ground at the crossmembers. Bump steer is a problem
but what I didn't like was how unbalanced the car felt. Especially on
turning in to a corner. It just wanted to wiggle all over the place. I am
making it sound worse than it was. On the day, I still managed to waste an
XR6 with a lot of suspension work and a VK HSV Commodore who had a lot more
straight line speed. Thanks everyone for your help.
Regards,
Andy Nielsen.
