Wardy,
Is
that the connection that is in top of the thermostat housing. Sounds like you're
getting it sorted and out for a Sunday drive soon (:-
Terry
G'day list, I remember
this question being asked a while back. I thought I'd just
mention a fix that I found regarding high idle and cold start probs on my
FJ20T (using stock ECU) - it may help someone.
Basically the temperature sensor (not temp
sender) had a fair bit of corrosion on the terminals and also in the actual
loom connector. Once I fixed that, it now idles at a constant 800rpm
(down from 1200rpm+ , also revs were hunting up and down). Now
it "cold starts" sweet as well.
Cheers, Wardy
