Not bieng a web page designer or programmer .. I no
not where to start .. Seriously though, lets get the
ball rolling.
Is it possible to have a section of the OZDAT site set
aside for this project. Call it say .. ummm "Swapable
Parts" or something similiar.
List the Vehicle make model and year, primary name of
the part or component, then the components that can be
used and any special considerations. So it could look
something like the followinh, with searchable "key
words" or a table for a more direct hit.
Datsun 1600 Sedan 1971 - 72
G/Boxes
Alternative Part/Component
1971 240K 5 Speed
1971 to 76 240/260Z 5 Speed
etc
etc
Special Considerations
Ensure that pressure plate matches throw out bearing
distances.
etc
etc
We have to figure out a way to allow new postings to
be added and old ones modified, using a simple data
entry screen. I have seen this on other sites and
don't believe it would be too difficult.
Any comments ???
