The bit of the story that's never been contentious is they accidentally got
dropped off in Melbourne (can you imagine the embarrassment at Dandenong
when they realised what happened) but the intended destination has always
been subject to who's telling the story - somewhere between NZ and RSA is
correct. You occasionally see one of them around, they were complianced and
they have the usual ADR plate etc. Most of them of late that I have seen
have seen better days.

I remember hearing a story that Stanza coupes were never meant to come to
Aus, but a shipment of around 100-200 got delivered here instead of NZ.
They do seem to be very rare, though.  The Coupe isn't any lighter than a 4
door either, unfortunately.
