The 120Y box and the 510 box is the same ratio (15:1) so i'm not convinced
there is any difference in that area. It could be just the feel of the newer
box. I had an excited kid tell me once at a club meet that his latest
improvement was that he installed more direct steering on his Celica, turned
out that he had fitted a 12" steering wheel. hehehe

The 120y supposedly has less turns from lock to lock. I am going to check
this at the u-pull soon.

The callipers on a 240K sit at the back of the disc just like a stock 1600.

Pass on the 120Y steering box, we are told it is a replacement for the 1600
but I don't know the pros & cons as I've never done it.

hey fellas
okay can anyone tell me which way a 240k strut's brake normally sit as i
have got a bent front right strut but im not sure if they were swapped left
to right so if i could find out id know which one to get .
also i asked before without answer steering boxes. does a 12oY one fit
straight in with no mods and/or is there a better alternative to the 120Y
and 1600 boxes as all 3 of ours need it done. thanks fellas
