As far as I know...and believe me I've
looked...no. Some of the guys in the US convert their cars to rack and
pinion I believe and you may be able to change the ratios via that method.
I guess if you had the engineering ability you could make the ratios in the box
to what you wanted them to be..I have also looked into this possibility but it
was very expensive.(I have a fitter/machinist background and a brother who works
for Gibson Motorsport so we had the available expertise). I was wondering
the other day if it was possible just to shorten the arms which the tie rod ends
attach to which would give a different ratio by virtue of the fact that the arms
don't have to move as much then for the wheels to turn an equivalent
amount.
Anyway, enough rambling, if you have any success
with any of these suggestions (if you try them) let me know, I am still looking
though....I may try the shorter steering arm method if I can figure out a safe
way to do it, maybe just have to make new arms which are the length I want
them.
Cheers,
Russ
