yes i sort of figured thats what maybe has been done with this one...I will
investigate further and report back
Any ideas about rear wheel cylinders for optimum braking on the standard
rear end???
I need a reply urgently as i will have to get the bits tomorrow (one of his
stock ones is leaking) and rather than get a stock replacement I wanted to get 2
new ones of the right size as he is racing at leyburn on next weekend..
cheers
Mick

Mick,
You
can reduce the # of turns to around 3.5 by adjusting the lock stops up for a
large wheel but I don't think you'll get down to 3 turns this
way.
Terry
Thanks Errol
Actually since i posted this request I had the opportunity to check the
lock on a standard 1600 and found it was only 3 turns?? Now I really am
puzzled.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Mick

Mick Stock Stanza arms are
100mm (I assume 510 and 610 would be approximately similar) for this
measurement. I think yours have been shortened. Cheers Feral

As posted before I have measured my steering
at 2.5 turns from lock to lock. The steering box looks to be pretty
standard so I'm wondering about why?? I have measured the steering arms
at the bottom of the strut.. I measured from the centre of the tie rod
pin/bolt back to the centre of the first mounting bolt on the strut and
came up with 70mm.. Just wondering what the other guys/girls have ie
have my steering arms been
shortened? cheers Mick
