My reecommendation, do all the engine work yourself if possible... :)
Drive in / Drive out performance workshops sometimes can be rip-off
merchants as well... You want Bang for Buck, then you don't want to be
paying $60 an hour in labour charges..
Z18 should cost you approx $1000 i think. Sounds like a good easy
conversion, but will probably eat your entire budget.
As far as paint jobs go, you get exactly what you pay for...
Remember, if you do decide to do the work yourself, you have a fantastic
support network right here, and there's like collectively about 1000 brain
years of knowledge on datsun engines and 1600 stuff... Fear not, and live
spack!!!
