Derek, they had the shorter struts, but they also had the higher control arm
mounting point so that effectively negates that difference. Not sure about the
ride height though, perhaps it was lower and that wasn't good for Aussie bush
bashing!
Then they started making them in Aus in '69 (I *think*) when the suspension
changes started? who knows..
