My neighbour was telling em that one of his mates got a fine from a radar
camera(he saw the flash as he went by). So he went home grabbed his kids
balckboard and wrote "warning radar trap ahead" and put it about 200 metres
up the road from the copper and stood next to it proudly.
After a while the copper wondered why he wasn't catching anyone speeding and
he saw this bloke with the blackboard. Gave him a fine etc... This guy took
it to court. In court he asked the Policeman what the purpose of setting up
a radar camera (prevent speeders obviously), he then asked the copper how
many people he had caught speeding when the blackboard was in place (big fat
ZERO).. basically he got off......Don't ask me how accurate this story is,
my neighbour can tell a few whoppers at times, but it seems retty
believeable..
