Adam,
Small amounts of toe out help turn in on corners but as you said can cause
straight line instability unless extra caster is added.

What happens if you have toe-out on the front? I have just got an
alignment and it drives like it is drunk, I even got pulled over by the
police because they though I was drunk. Will incorrect toe cause this?
