The 240K & Skyline are certainly a hit and miss proposition with the diff -
they put in what they could get hold of and then PO's replaced them with
what ever they could get hold of. Auto and 4 speed Skylines came with a 3.7
R180 at times as well. The only way to tell is carefully pull the plate off.

higher ratios as they pull an overdrive. 79 Skylines can have a 4.11 ratio.
I have one I pulled from a 2000k wreck in 1980. I cant remember if it was
man or Auto, but my guess is manual.
