Craig,
I am a graduate and as such cant compete. but i am currently doing
research into racecar performance simulation for motec, and because of
this a couple of people have come to see me about this work in relation
to formula sae. my brother goes to monash also, so i hear a bit about
their work too.
from what ive heard and seen, i'd recommend coming to the final in
december with a few teammates and loads of film to get any hints you can
on what works and what doesnt. i think rmit and melbourne uni sent people
to america last year to get ideas before starting!!
it also seems the teams down here dedicate nearly all their time to the
project....i do not have a clue how they are fitting their other uni work
in. some also started before last christmas hols.....be prepared for
serious late nights and no time for the datto!!
