In south africa where car theft is pretty big they have some pretty far out
car alarms
they have one similar to your 2 wires one, but it works on a computer brain,
like a normal alarm
it gives the offender a warning to step away, then it gives another warning
that the alarm is activating, then if the offender persists the entire car
is electrified and it's bye bye car theif.
It was only a proto type though, I don't know how it would work without
frying expensive stereo systems etc etc
my favourite of the South African car alarms I saw was one that saw some
crudely designed flame throwers mounted all around the bottom of the car
facing up on a slight angle, anyone tried to break in it simply cooked
anyone and anything standing within a 1 metre range.
these were both only prototypes when I saw them on a program/documentary
about S.A. and appartide (spelling?) not sure if they ever made it into
production although I sure would like that flame thrower one on my car
