Thats sort of what happend to my mates dad's car. He has/had a original (not
restored) ZD fairlane i think, it had been parked at his workshop for the past
4 or 5 years not regoed and earlier in the week it dissapeared. they found it
after a day or two at a train station stripped of everything that wasn't welded
on (except the motor, but dizzy/air cleaner etc were gone)
It looks like they flat towed it away, in a space of 2hrs when my mate got home
and his house mate got home.
A couple of days earlie he had someone wanting to buy it... sus eh?
it would have been a great car to do up too.. which my mate was "maybe" gonna
do, but now he is onto doing up a stanza so all is not lost..
