I was interested in this sort of conversion a little while ago.
Apart from different engine mounts etc it seems you need a sump which has the
bulge at the back (going from memory), wheras most of the RB series engines
have the bulge at the front.. (or it could be vice versa).
Apparently the sump from a Patrol with the RB30 could fit, or one would need to
be made.
Other options would be a VG30 V6, single turbos are easier to fit apparently.
