G'day Terry. In reply to your email, I'm no
longer using your obv, I've now got a plug in place instead. I'm wondering if
it's the idle speed control valve (which is in place but not being used) is
leaking. Being busy at work with all the goings on at Homebush Bay, so
haven't really had time to fiddle with it.
I'm not sure what email you are referring to about
using a hobs switch etc. (My missus reads my mails and if she thinks they
are "boring", she thinks she's doing me a favour and deletes 'em before I even
see them !)

you still using my Nispro OBV or have you got another one on. I'd start with
that as those things are prone to leaking, my original BOV sounded a bit like
a perpetual fart under the bonnet and it wouldn't surprise me if the
Nispro is getting tired if you're still using it. Did you see my earlier
post on using a hobs switch so you poq that OBV anyway. I'll put something
together for you if you're interested and it will cost ~$50 + gst to get some
bits.

Has anyone got any good ideas on how to find a
boost leak ? I can hear a small hissing sound come from the engine bay
when fanging my FJ, but for the life of me I've checked every hose clamp,
gasket etc and can't find the mongrel. It must be of a minor nature
though, as the boost guage seems to read accurately.
The problem is trying to find where the leak is
coming from whilst accelerating hard, hanging out the drivers window looking
under the bonnet at 100kph. Pretty hard as you have the climb back in
to change gears :)
