$300 should get you a sizzling second hand head
with big valves and probably another good cam. Bolt it on, fit the carbs
and off you go!
To save fuel, simply lift the right
foot.

Subject: Cylinder heads
Hi
listers
I blew my head gasket on Wednesday, and have
decided to warm the L18 up a bit while it's in bits. (will also get
the mystery cam setup too, and if Zac gets his bum into gear a 45 weber
too! :)
Theres one problem though... the head is
stuffed due to corrosion (and my spare one too... which is a bit of bad
luck). I've been reading bout A87, peanut, etc heads, I don't really
know which kind suits my needs best, but I was wondering if anybody had
something in decent nick for sale? It's going to be a mild street car,
nothing too serious. I don't want huge valves etc cos I wanna keep fuel
consumption reasonable, and would be happy with something already worked on as
long as it was fairly mild :) Who would I be best off talking
to about working one of these heads here in Adelaide? I wouldn't want to
spend much more than $350 on modifying the head.
Thanks
