Heath,
They're an amazing engine and they will sustain 18psi all day if it got the
good stuff in it - I would say a stock bottom end at 18 psi is destined for
an explosion. If the Turbo is set up right with good management etc it
should be pumping 600 bhp at that level of boost, if it hangs together then
it just shows you how well put together the RB is. I would never advise
anyone to run that much sustained boost on a stock bottom end, but if they
choose to do so and get away with it then good luck but tuck away a few
grand as insurance.
