With engine cold and NO pressure in the cooling system, crack the head bolts
in untorquing sequence and then re-torque in tightening sequence in 4 stages
stage 1 30 ft/lbs
stage 2 45 ft/lbs
stage 3 60 ft/lbs
stage 4 60 ft/lbs (recheck)
Check and adjust tappet clearances inlet (cold) 8' exhaust (cold) 10'
