Jim,
Buy a good black rocker cover bluebird 2 ltr with V91 head. Bolt on the
extractors and weber and enjoy. It will give you a lot more performance
than a hot (expensive) 1600 engine.

Ive got a Datsun 1600 with about $600 to spend on the engine (1600 OHC).
What should I do???? My aim is to get the most performance out of it now
with $800. I already have a weber and extractors so I want to know the best
thing to do to get as much performance as possible with the money I have.
Should I buy a 2-litre or get one of my two 1600 engines worked on. What
should I do to the block which we can do at home and what should i do to
the
head which I'll get done professionally?
