I will take a stab at its value. I would ask $10k to $12k, which is about $4000 above typical Z18 powered 1600's advertised in the Trading Post over the last two years. I add the $4000 to recognise that the mechanical and body condition is basically new. Even at my estimate, I guess it's well short of the money you have spent. I would be keeping it and use it to recoup the investment. You should advertise it and wait. Word of mouth will get around that its a top Datto and eventually someone with the right dollars will come along. Dont hand the keys over to wannabe test pilots, a genuine buyer who respects it will want you to drive it, to judge how it goes in your expert hands, and how its been driven.
Its amazing how some sellers will show off to a would be buyer how they have driven their car, putting the buyer right off by the way they demonstrate they have driven it. Classic statements like "look how it handles round this bend in second" (at 7 grand you mentally note. "It pulls 110kph in first", usually but not always indicate the life of the car under its its current ownership.
