Its Andrews old engine but i'll give u the rundown of it. Basically its an A15 block (same bore size as the A14) bored 120thou giving a capacity of 1510cc, with an A14 crank(77mm), Flattop pistons, big port job, race cam, double valve springs, twin 45 webers...um. Andrew have i left anything out?? You can get larger capacity by using an A15 crank(82mm) but then your engine wont rev as hard but more touque down low. My engine should rev to 8000rpm no probs and still a bit more to come. The largest capacity u can get these engines is 1628cc with out going for a custom made crank. I have a stocko A15 in my coupe for the time being and its does the job fine. I only rev it to 4500-5000 rpm each gear at it accelerates fairly well. Cant wait to get the A14 in tho as power only starts at around 4500rpm :) cya Scott Davo -----Original Message----- From: Josh Harley-Hill <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thursday, 26 October, 2000 21:03 Subject: Re: A14 >thanks for the info, i am int in what u have done to yours cos as i said im >new to this scene, any info is appreciated > > >---------- >From: Davidson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: Re: A14 >Date: Thursday, 26 October 2000 20:24 > >An A14 should drop straight into the ute as the have a different X memeber >to the coupes and sedans.
