memory my halfshafts bolt up to flanges. You can have the halfshafts as
well because I am fitting an R200 with CV's from a 4WS GTR. I
am not concerned about $$$ for the diff at all bloke so don't panic about
that.
As for
ratios 4:8 won't be a great deal different from the 5.1 pending your
setup. Try her out and see what happens. You will have to strip it
down and check it as I havent pun a wheel in 5 years however it was in perfect
condition back then.

I was hoping to change from my 5.1 before the qld datsun day at lakeside
on the 18th. Nov
As for price I have absolutely no idea what they are worth
so my first offer is $10. but that is negotiable hehe
Are all R180 diffs the same in the way the half shafts slide into the
housing rather than bolt up to a flange on the side of the diff?
Do u think 4.8 is the right ratio for lakeside given that i run 195/60x
15 wheels with the hollinger close ratio 5 speed? I'm pretty sure 5.1 is too
low.
Anyone know what is a fair price for one of these diffs? I'd hate to rip

What models should i be looking for at the wreckers?
I would love LSD but....depends on availability as much as
price.
Anyone got any ideas?
