Richard,
The
standard fuses for the headlamps (left & right) are 10 amps. Disconnect the
inners and see if the fuses blow as this will tell you which circuit to
check.

I'm having heaps of problems with my headlights, I
can't use high beams or else my fuse just blows straight away(which is great
when you need to use your high beams, in the middle of no where). I had a look
at the fuse box and cleaned it up. I have a feeling someone has done a dodgy
job because it looks like both the headlights go through the same fuse, I'm
presuming when they are on high beam too much juice is going through em.
Anyway can someone tell me what size fuse should be in there. I think they are
standard headlights, and I have a 15amp fuse in at the moment.
This is the problem with getting cars which other people
have messed around with before you.
