OK, the 240K/200B struts are not too suitable for the S12 brakes as Errol
has told us the bolt spacing on them is 100mm. This is not an insurmountable
problem but a hassle none the less.

Wayne,
There is very little difference between 240K and 200B struts, the 240K is
slightly shorter by about 5/16". There are two lines of thought about
whether to run big solid discs or ventilated on a dirt racer. The solid
270mm 240K rotor with Hilux callipers and decent pads will perform very well
but the easiest ventilated option on a 240K strut seems to be the commodore
conversion. I'd like to pursue the imported 910 Bluebird or the Aussie S12
ventilated system as with a small mod to the balljoint retainer could be an
economical conversion for a 510/610. The good thing I like about this setup
is there are good quality pads to suite still available.

Terry

I'm building the car to rally it and have access to all the car's I
mentioned. As I have allocated a good portion of the budget to brakes and
suspension I thought that i should try to get the best
setup from the start.
I also have 240K struts and would like to know the main difference between
them and the 200B one's.
Thanks,
regards
Wayne
