Australia didn't get a L14 in anything on the showroom floor so they're all
imports and there must be only 10 cars here that came with the L14. The B110
1400GX (import) came with an A14 engine and the B210 wagon also got a
detuned GX A14 (no twins or HC head), and Nissan Australia had a good reason
at the time but still IMHO brain fade when they chose to upgrade the locally
produced 180B (610) instead of offering the legendry 710.

L14s came in 510s, 710s and 1200s... actually technically not 1200 but
1400GX Excellent models. Also120Y too but again called an Excellent
1400GX...Both the B110 and B210 I think are Japan only? . I don't know if
510s were sold in Oz with L14s..we got them with both L13s and L14s. In fact
the 1300 seems to be the most common model. We got L14s in 710 sedans
(called a 140J), while Japan got them in both sedan and coupe (L14
coupe...urgh!) I'm still not clear on wether they were sold down under...I
get the impression that NZ got them but Oz didn't. Can anybody enlighten me
on this one?
