Zac,
The struts I use are R31 GTS. not a custom strut. The X offset is the
distance from the flange the wheel sits against on the hub to the inner
points of the spokes where the caliper would hit the wheel. You are quite
correct that a 15 is the minimum diameter rim.
Also this strut/Hub combination moves your front wheels out some 25mm from
its stock position which is why I dont have then fitted to my road going
Sunny (KB310). The flares would have to be awesome.
The same setup fitted to dog bones on 200B/240K struts as Stewart Wilkins
has done would be best IMHO.
Cheers
Feral Errol

Errol uses some crazy custom struts he has or R31GTS struts.
I'm not quite sure what he means by this X-offset. I measured my wheel how
he suggested to me and it had ~70mm offset. It is a 15" wheel. 15 would
have
to be minimum.
Also I am not sure about fitting these brakes to a 1600 strut, but I don't
think you would do that. Noone seems to use those struts for anything
performance. 200b/240k are more commonly used. It might be that you would
be
stressing the stock 1600 wheel bearings with 15" wheels.
