OK here is the rub...... Temp and fuel guauges are not
working.
Removed the guages, used wet&dry to clean the
regulator points at the rear of the guage unit, tested
them on the bench (earthing out) and both work fine.
Installed them and still not working, earthed out the
sender wires from both the fuel tank and temp sender
unit.. both guages register no probs.
Replaced the temp sender, still no response, used a
spare fuel tank sender unit to test the guage (outside
of the tank) still no response.
Has anyone come across this problem and if so, the fix
?????
I really dont want to fit an after market fuel guage,
although I do have one for the water temp (the datto
ones were never very accurate)
