Dear list, I need advice about what to do about the turbo on my cordia gsr.
I just bought it, and want to get rid of it because I,m sick of front wheel
drive and it's too shiny! I know It isn't a Datto, but I do own a 510 which
I am currently building up to get on the road and I know some one on the
list will be able to help. The turbo is pretty noisy: it makes a whining
noise of different pitch depending on the RPM, the car blows smoke (grey)
when it is reved after it has been idleing for about 20 seconds and also
while at full boost. I want to sell the car and use the money for my datto.
How do I know how bad the turbo actually is? Do you really need to spend
about $600 to fix it? Is it easy to fix the turbo yourself? Any advice would
be greatly appreciated and will result in my datto getting on the road
